Bag seeds are the seeds in the Cannabis you buy, which were not intended to be grown to produce seeds a lot of time. If the herb is good that they came from especially if the bud still has seed intact you should get good results if you germinate and grow them.

Commercial and smuggled Cannabis is usually not fully potent due to packaging and handling, but seeds from it if grown properly can give excellent if not amazing results. Seeds should be dark brown with markings. Make sure that they are firm when you squeeze them to make sure they good and viable.

The general rule is if the mother is good, the children should at least be just as good or better, but if the father is bad it will probably show in the progeny of the siblings.

Plant Maturity and Cannabinoid Levels

Plants of the Cannabis variety have the tendency to get more potent as they get older. A plant that is 2 months old is old enough to flower properly, but won’t be as strong as a 6 month old. A 8 month old plant is probably the peak, but it depends on your conditions, actual age of the plant, and strain. The high over time can warp. That’s why Elite clones that have been in existence for decades may have such sought after highs. Clones have the age of the initial mother plant grown from a seed. Some plant types have been cloned for over 20 years without problems.

WHEN LOOKING AT CANNABIS PLANT LEAVES

Cannabis plant leaves represent genetics. For instance pure Indica’s have 3 to 5 finger leaves. Mostly Indica, has 3 to 7 fingers, usually no more than 7.

Pure Sativa has 7 ore more, even up to 13 fingers. Mostly Sativa has 7 or more. Remember that Cannabis are Hybrid, no matter what the leaf configuration is. It is never a 100% accurate way of telling the variety dominance, but it can give you a good idea if you have a Cannabis strain that is unknown to you.

Indica’s are usually dark, green and have shorter spaces between internodes (the spaces that divide branches and leaf stems) and mature quicker.

Sativa’s are long, lanky, grow fast , and are usually a light green color due to it being from places where sun light is very intense. Because of this it produces more of a pigment that gives the plant the ability to protect itself.

For the most part Sativa’s take an average of 10 – 12 weeks to finish flowering, from the time you induce flowering. Indica’s take 6 – 8 weeks. But the biggest difference is in the highs or stimulations. Sativa’s are more cerebral and energetic, where as Indica’s are stoney, lazy, and sedative. However, this is not true for all Cannabis. Remember, Cannabis is a very diverse plant that has made liars out of many people.

Remember to check us out tomorrow for more great cannabis grow tips, this time we will be discussing plant maturity.

Undertones are different hints of taste hidden by fertilizer salts and chlorophyll that is still present in the plant. That is why curing is most effective with pre-flushing before harvest and/or Final Flush, which helps the plant reach senescence quicker.

A few words from the Unknown.

First of all, Cannabis is not poison. It actually works with and for your body, not against your body. Cannabis in its raw form, pure, dried, and of good quality can be the best treat for a person with many ailments or no sickness at all. But like many things created on Earth some are liked and some are disliked. That is the beautiful thing about free will.

Cannabis was created for humans. That makes more sense because why doesn’t it evolve now or anything else in this world today. The truth is Jehovah the Creator of everything, the Heavens and Earth made the Cannabis plant.

The significant thing about this plant is that Cannabis breeds like humans, but plants were created before humans. Cannabis is the only annual dioecy’s on the planet, meaning that it is the only plant that lives for a year, and has the gender of either male or female on separate plants and even a sub-species or variety that are moneocy meaning both sex parts on one plant. And all Cannabis plants are capable of being an intersexed plant with the right conditions.

Cannabis is the only plant that produces cannabinoids, which is the chemical that gives you a stimulation, not a high. The word high in my opinion is like the word drugs. These words that are used to scare you and put fear in you.

Cannabinoids work through your all ready built in CB1 or cannabinoid receptor system. You also have a cannabinoid receptor system for the immune system called CB2. The THC molecules or cannabinoids active in Cannabis when ingested works through bonding to your built in receptors that are there for a indigenous compound called anandamide. Anandamide is a cannabinoid the human body produces to make us feel good, that is why Cannabis does not have an ill effect on users. And studies held in Jamaica shows that people who use Cannabis live longer and have higher IQ’s.

Me, the Unknown Knower suffered from migraine headaches, until l was 17 when I got them so bad I’d rather shoot myself in the leg again, than go a whole day or two with a pain so bad that it’s a sin that the medical world claims there is no cure. Anyway when I started smoking Cannabis, it is what soothed the pain and helped me hold down my food, because the migraine headache would make me vomit continuously until only acid or bile would come up. But luckily a cure was found, not really through the intervention of man made medicine, but God Made Medicine. I received the cure for migraine headaches.

Cannabis also made me not feel and exude so much hate. I feel much more interested in learning new things than be entertained by excess violence. It drew me closer to the truth and the Creator of the plant most of all. I believe Cannabis was a gift from the Giver of all gifts, and it should be used only if one likes the feeling it gives. It personally gives me a feeling of truth that nothing else can match, as well as discernment.

Once people learn the truth they will see that the truth incorporates the truth, which is people being healed mentally, emotionally, racially, physically, environmentally, and most of all spiritually with the right guidance from above and peace from below.

Cannabis is way further advanced than man made medicine. For example I took prescription drugs such as Seroquil, Risperidal, and Hayldol, and Benedryl for a period of time. The side effects of these medicines could result in death and have in many cases.

Long story short these so called medicines made me sick and feel more depressed and disoriented in life. If I was still on those medications, I would probably not be of any use to my family. Cannabis use in the same amount as pharmaceuticals are no where near as harmful. Cannabis has no toxic level or side effects.

Anti-depressants are naturally in Cannabis. I know this for a fact. Anti-depressant medication prescribed by doctors can cause you to nearly lose your mind or lose your mind, if you don’t continue to take them. They can also damage your organs permanently. However, Cannabis has been proven to cure many forms of Cancer.

Cannabinoids like THC and CBD use many different metabolic pathways. When we take a look at silver bullet or prescription drugs they use only one metabolic pathway, which is like traveling on a road to a specified destination. If you keep driving that same road continuously you will eventually wear apart and crumble the pathway. The same is true for your metabolic pathways. If they are continuously used they will malfunction and cause problems, which comes in the form of side effects. Cannabis is a synergistic shotgun, which means it heals through many metabolic pathways in order to prevent wear and tear on your bodily system.

Growing closet marijuana can be challenging because of the small amount of space available for the grower to work with. This location can be compared to the level of difficulty that comes along with attic growing, due to the lack of windows. This can increase the susceptibility that your plants could suffer from heat stress, mold or fungus, due to the fluctuating heat and humidity levels during the warm and hot months.

Closet marijuana growers will have to limit their marijuana plants due to the space. You will also need to decide if you will have two separate closets for vegetative and flowering.

If you’re thinking about growing closet marijuana, download The Ultimate Hydroponic Marijuana Growers Guide, because it will show you the basics of how to grow quality marijuana with a very simplistic approach. You will be able to start your indoor closet marijuana garden using just a few household items.

Quick drying marijuana can be done, but it is inadvisable as it usually results in a very harsh smoke. You can quick dry your weed by taking fresh buds and placing them on a radiator or putting them on a baking tray in a warm oven.

Slow drying can be done with a cardboard box, paper clips and hangers. Most marijuana plants lose a fair amount of moisture within 7 days, and can start to be manicured at that point.

In order to begin germinating marijuana seeds you must have some seeds to germinate. You can either buy seeds from a company or you can take some seeds out of your stash and start with those.

Seed germination can be done using many different methods. The simplest way is to put a seed directly into the moistened growing medium of your choice. If this method is chosen, you can increase your chances of successful germination when you pre-soak the seeds overnight in pH neutral water.

The most effective method is the saucer method. For this method you will need to place a few sheets of paper towel onto a shallow plate or bowl. Moisten the towel with tepid water, make sure it is not soaked. Place the seeds evenly on the moist paper.

Then place a clear plastic bag or plastic wrap over the plate to ensure the seeds do not dry out, then place them in a warm, dark location. The temperature should be 70 – 86 degrees.

Check the seeds daily and pay particular attention to temperature and moisture content on the towel. If conditions remain pretty consistent, you should see the seed case split open and expose the white radicle or root. This usually takes place between 36 to 48 hours from the time you started to germinate.

Once the root appears you can plant your seed in a rooting medium.

At this point make a hole approximately ½ inch deep in the medium and carefully place the seed in the hole. Make sure the root is pointing downward then cover the seed with your chosen medium.

***You can increase your female to male ratio by feminizing your seeds. This can be achieved by pre-soaking the seeds overnight in a solution containing the female hormone estrogen.

Flushing marijuana is a very important part of cannabis cultivation. Flushing is a method that is used to remove waste from your growing medium. Flushing will help to eliminate the harshness you experience when smoking low grade marijuana. It helps to increase taste and flavor.

Flushing should be done at a very minimum of 2 weeks before harvest, but 4 weeks is recommended. Flushing is done by taking distilled water or water that has been treated with reverse osmosis and pouring it into the plant’s growing medium. If you don’t have access to distilled water, you can use tap water. If you use tap water make sure that you let it sit for at least 24 hours, so that you can get rid of the chlorine. You can also boil tap water to clean and purify it as well.

Once the flushing process has begun, DO NOT add any fertilizer to your flowering plants. At this point you will only be using plain water to feed your plants. Remember, you are flushing because you want to remove the fertilizers and waste from your growing medium to improve the overall quality of your end product.

The amount of water needed to properly flush is two times the volume of the container you are growing in. So, if you have a 1 gallon pot, 2 gallons of water will be needed to flush the plant. This should be done about once per week. However, take note that depending on your growing style and preference you may flush more frequently or less frequently than one time per week.

This process also helps to remove the remaining chlorophyll from the plant. This will essentially increase the flavor, by allowing the flavor undertones of the marijuana to become more prominent in the taste of the Cannabis.

If you want to grow quality bud, you MUST make it a habit to flush your marijuana plants frequently.
